Portrayed by  Mark Rahner

A spiritual man of peace forced into battle with Mark Anthony against the Armenians, he awakened from death with no clear path. Wandering the world alone for decades, even watching the crucifixion of Christ, he stayed out of The Game, eventually coming across the then-militant Darius, who would properly teach him to survive as an Immortal.

It was a double-edged sword: Darius would teach him in the ways of the Immortal Game, even handing his first and only Quickening but when it came time to storm the gates of Paris, Willem would abandon that, instead continuing his journey alone. Unhappy with the path he seemed headed down, he rejected the Game to the outright anger of Darius.

Willem now lives with his mortal girlfriend Sylvia Dubakova, in Seattle, Washington. He has become and remains a good friend and close confidant with the Brazilian Highlander Malej Senna Cavaco and, by association, with his girlfriend, Justina Castillo.

Still a man of peace, he studies a multitude of religions in a quest to find greater answers that have eluded him his entire Immortal life. This is his life's work, not taking heads.

Notes: He appears neutral in the greater goings on of the Game in the Washington area, though his ties with Malej Cavaco and ties with Andrus Keradoc in the past keep him in the Immortal of interest.

Weapon: Royal Crusader Sword

Note: This character is fan-made and therefore, not canon.
