Synopsis[]
Part one of the two part series finale, To Be begins with Joe and Amanda being kidnapped by MacLeod's old enemy who will trade them for Duncan's head. Methos, unwilling to let MacLeod die so easily, begins a shoot out with the group that gets MacLeod temporarily killed, during which time he goes on dream journey with Fitzcairn who shows him all the good he has done in his life, and what things might be like without him.
