The Ancient Guardian was an Immortal and the former Guardian of the Source of about 16,212 years old. He had been the Guardian of the Source for 10,000 years. He was beheaded by an immortal while defending the Source, around 7,988 BC. The Ancient guardian was the oldest immortal of his time. The immortal who beheaded him became the new Guardian of the Source.
Personal History []
The Ancient Guardian, was born during the Upper Paleolithic c. 24 200 BC, probably his tribe lived as a hunter-gatherer or in caves. How he became immortal or the Guardian of the Source is a mystery. The ancient keeper who was a mortal witch journeyed along with four other immortals is a mortal were in search of the mysterious source of immortality around 17988 BC when the planets begun to align. He faced off against his predecessor, the 13,000-year-old back-to-back Source Guardian. Under mysterious circumstances and became The Ancient Guardian of the Source, for 10,000 years.
Several Millennia later, again when the planets begun to align, the mortal witch had been reincarnated and led another group of immortals to The Source. As tempers flared along the way and infighting, the mortal witch entered the source awaiting the victor. However, two immortals fought the Guardian, with one defeated and crawled towards the Source itself his friend beheaded the Ancient Guardian. As a result the immortal who beheaded the Guardian was cursed to become the new Guardian for the reminder of his life, while the other was left an immortal in a constant state of decay. The Source later disappeared with the mortal witch with the new Guardian entering a slumber until the time for the next planetary alignment which will allow access to the Source again.
