A former Marine, Belson was recruited into the Watchers by mentor, Jason Metzler. One of his assignments was Brian Weigman. His skill set included sharp shooter, covert operations, and the languages English and Russian.
However, he was corrupted by James Horton and became a Hunter. As a cover for his actions in hunting Immortals, he was placed on "special assignment."
In 1993, Belson and Jack Saunders were spying on Joe Dawson, when Duncan MacLeod visited the bookstore Joe worked at. Saunders and Belson attempted to flee, but were cornered and beaten up by the Highlander. Belson put up more of a fight than Saunders, but he was no match for Duncan. Joe appeared and told Duncan about the Watchers, saving Saunders and Belson from anymore beatings.
While Saunders tried and failed to help Horton kill Duncan at Darrow Wharf, Belson was never seen again. His location is unknown since 1993.
Trivia[]
- Saunders' actor, Brad Loree, Loree is credited as "Belson," making it a goof. In actuality, Belson's actor is not credited.
