Michael Davis was a Watcher who was given a unique assignment, his subject was not one Immortal, but two; the unusual partnership of Matlin and Kurlow. The two Immortals had been partners of long standing, and since the two Immortals traveled together without fail, it was deemed more circumspect to assign only one watcher to the pair.
