The fourth and final episode in the first season of the Highlander audio series.
Story[]
In 2008, the magnate Augustus Mason lures Duncan MacLeod to his Parisian office-building. There he letd Duncan fight against his former friend, the Immortal Justino Alberez. Duncan tries to spare his friend, but Alberez turns out to be tortured and drugged. He doesn't recognize Duncan, and tries to kill him. Duncan has no choice, and beheads Alberez, just as Mason had planned. The building is Holy Ground, and in the following Quickening, the Kurgan is brought back to life, overwhelming Duncan with his consciousness. Mason plans to drug Duncan and create a brainwashed follower, but Connor MacLeod also returns, due to his own Quickening being present in his cousin. Together, the Highlanders foil Mason's plans, and Duncan is cleansed of the Kurgan's evil taint.
