Kahn Hsing was a mortal and a Watcher As an observer, he spent 30 years with the organisation before retiring. Trained by Buddhist monks, he was an avid wrestler, though taking the cover of a farmer. He retired in September 1789, The Watcher Tribunal organizing the purchase of a small farm and cattle in his native village, in thanks for his years of service.
He observed May-Ling Shen from 1774 to 1789. Previously he had been assigned to Zhang Shi from 1759 to 1773.
