Jack Saunders was a mortal and a former Watcher, recruited by Judith Hammett and then corrupted by James Horton as a Hunter. His skills included surveillance, tactical and marksmanship medal.
In 1993, Saunders and Richard Belson, were spying on Joe Dawson, when Duncan MacLeod visited the bookstore Joe worked at. Saunders and Belson attempted to flee, but were cornered and beaten up by the Highlander. Joe appeared and told Duncan about the Watchers, saving Saunders and Belson from anymore beatings.
Two nights later, Saunders was waiting in ambush at Darrow Wharf with a scoped rifle after Horton made plans to meet Duncan there. Duncan choked him out and removed him as a threat, before attacking Horton. It is unknown of Saunders was killed or subdued by the chokehold.

- Saunders' actor, Brad Loree, would go on to play Michael Myers in Halloween: Resurrection.
- Loree is credited as "Belson," making it a goof. In actuality, Belson's actor is not credited.
