The Roma Irena was born in 1751 in Central Europe and died their first death in 1779, when she was hanged for predicting the future as a witch. Her mentor was Jacob Galati, an immortal as Roma. He was taught what they needed to know as immortals, and recruited nearly 65 years to Irene. Remi Vijayha, Jacobs observers took over in 1840 and Irena. One can assume that this year they came to Jacob's Roma group. Irena married about 1844 and Jacob Galati. She even jokingly commented that she would have been after 65 years just so tired of saying no.

In 1847, Jacob held Irena's Roma group in the vicinity of the Rhone on, either in Switzerland or in France. The Immortal Duncan MacLeod and she was accompanied by Jacob Irena and good friends. One day a man from a nearby village lured Irena into a barn and raped her. Jacob wanted to kill him in retaliation, but MacLeod convinced him to surrender the man to justice. The local judiciary, however, had not much choice for gypsies and let the perpetrators go unpunished. When he is with his act even boasted, Jacob still enforced his blood revenge on him. He was hanged for it, and was thus for their mortal friends dead Irena Jacob followed, she went on alone, and began a new life. Her Remi Vijayha observers remained. He continued to follow Duncan MacLeod, who did not accompany the Galatis.

In 1992, Jacob and Irene lived in France. They had become sedentary and had a house, Irena worked as a dancer. But one day her house was on fire, and as they fled into the forest, they were surrounded by mortals. Their leader, James Horton knew of their immortality. He did shoot the Galatis and finally beheaded Irena, her Quickening jumped over to Jacob. Irena's observer and Jacobs Maria Pezza was later found near the burnt house with a broken neck. It is not known with certainty whether this deed to Horton or Jacob Galati returns, but evidence suggests that James Horton is responsible.

Duncan MacLeod Irena later recalled as a sensitive woman with good people skills. She was not vengeful.
