A fan-made film, Highlander: The Watcher was authorized by Davis-Panzer Productions. Released December 2016, it was produced by Storymark Productions.
The story centers on the character of David Quinlan who is a member of the Watchers. He becomes convinced that Ian Campbell, the Immortal he is assigned to follow, would be killed, and he involved himself in a battle between Immortals, breaking all the oaths he had sworn. By exposing himself he reveals himself to Campbell, and invites the attention of an ancient assassin, as well as a traitor from within the Watchers.
It should be noted that as a fan made film, neither the plot nor the characters are considered canon.
