Highlander: The Card Game is a collectible card game with over 400 different cards. The card game is based on the Highlander franchise of films, series, comic books and novels. The Highlander Universe itself is broken up into different continuities, and the card game mirrors that approach but allows you to play characters from either continuity against each other, simulating fights between characters that never happened on screen or in the books.
The first edition of Highlander the card game was released by Thunder Castle Games, and created by Mike Sager. In 2004, a 1st Edition set known as the Black Raven set containing cards for older characters was released, as well as new cards from the spinoff TV show Highlander the Raven. In 2018, the 2nd Edition of Highlander the card game was released by La Montagnard, Inc. This is still the edition that most players play to this day. In 2022, the Legacy 3 Set for Highlander the Card Game was released. This set contains 100 plus new cards for existing immortals, and one new immortal.
