In 1880s San Francisco, Duncan's Immortal friend, Alec Hill, mourns his young wife Genevieve murdered by the immortal, Kragen. Hill is convinced her spirit remains.
In modern day Seacouver, Alec has been killed, and his mortal widow Jennifer is convinced that Alec's spirit can't leave until Duncan keeps his promise to kill Kragen - but it turns out Kragen was not the one who killed Alec after all.
