Gilgamesh, originally Bilgamesh, legendary king of Uruk, probably reigned between 2800 and 2500 BC. The Sumerian King List cites that Gilgamesh ruled the city of Uruk for 126 years.
About 2,000 BC the Akkadian, Ammaletu saw Gilgamesh coming back to life after he was killed. Ammaletu then created the organization of the Watchers.
