Approximately around the year 2,000 B.C.E., an Akkadian, Ammaletu, witnessed Gilgamesh coming back to life after he was supposedly killed in battle. Ammaletu then created the organization of [[Watchers|The Watchers]] in the aftermath of this event, dedicated to secretly tracking and chronicling the lives of the Immortals.
