Gilgamesh, legendary king of Uruk, who lived around 2,600 BC, according to current scholarship.

In about 2,000 BC the Akkadian, Ammaletu saw Gilgamesh coming back to life after he was killed. Ammaletu then created the organization of the Watchers.
