Gilgamesh, originally Bilgamesh, legendary King of Uruk, reigned probably around 2650 BC. The Sumerian King List states that Gilgamesh, Lord of Kulaba ruled the city of Uruk for 126 years.
About 2,000 BC the Akkadian, Ammaletu saw Gilgamesh coming back to life after he was killed. Ammaletu then created the organization of the Watchers.
