Giancarlo Lofrano was a mortal Watcher from Florence, Italy, recruited by C. Verrizano.
He received an education from the brothers of San Marco, had the skills of wine making and poetry, and knew the languages Italian, English, and Latin. He previously had been assigned to Enrico Belzoni and Lucretia Garibaldi.
Under the cover of a wine merchant in Verona, Lofrano was assigned to Duncan MacLeod from 1636 to 1648, which by happenstance, also allowed him to observe Hugh Fitzcairn as well.
Unfortunately, an outbreak of pestilence in the city ended his life in 1648. Chapel bells were rung in his memory.
