Synopsis[]
Immortal Gabriel Piton kills his lover, Cynthia Hampton (Rachel Palmieri), and replaces her with model Maya (Katia Douvalian). Richie meets Maya in a cafe and falls for her.
Richie is jealous of Piton and, after hearing about Cynthia's death, suspects that Piton killed her and investigates Piton's flat. Interrupted by Piton, Richie escapes, but Piton is suspicious and arranges to send Richie to jail in retaliation. MacLeod decides to intervene and finds Piton about to kill Maya. MacLeod challenges his old friend.

At the beginning of the scene of the fashion show we can hear the song "She Drives Me Crazy" from the group Fine Young Cannibals. The singer is Roland Gift who plays Xavier St. Cloud in the series.

In the scene when Richie Ryan hides in Gabriel Piton's apartment, Piton doesn't seem to feel the presence of pre-immortal Richie. Later Piton mentions Richie as a mortal when he asks Duncan "You'd risk your life and challenge me for a mortal" This may suggest not all Immortals are sensitive to latent immortality.
