Emilio Cerza was a Watcher recruited into the organization by Salvatore Prestiani, who served as his mentor. He had graduated from technical secondary school, with the skills of covert operations; deep cover and self-defense, as while as knowledge of the languages Italian, French, Spanish and English.
However, he was brainwashed by James Horton into becoming a Hunter and participated in the fruitless crusade to kill all Immortals.
The Hunters[]
Cerza appeared as one of the men who entered Darius's chapel and beheaded him. Those men then kidnapped Duncan MacLeod's friend, fellow Immortal Hugh Fitzcairn. However, Duncan beat up Cerza, who committed suicide to avoid interrogation. Seeing Cerza's tattoo made Duncan remember the medallion he had seen back in 1639.
