David Coleman was an Immortal originally from Finland. where he was known as Ingmir Sollonen.
He experienced his first death in an accident while attempting to put out a barn fire. Coleman was then found by the Immortal, Gustav Erlander, who taught him the use of the sword, and educated him about immortality and the game.
After parting from his teacher, he traveled to the Massachusetts Bay colonies. He then traveled broadly, visiting several countries and applying the cautionary game-dodging strategies of his mentor. At some point during the 20th century, he returned to America, and became the owner of an antique shop.

Brought to bay by Kanis' dogs
He met his end when he became the target of Peter Kanis who set his trained dogs upon him. Run to exhaustion, Kanis approached the all but defenseless man and beheaded him.
