Clive Bertram was a Watcher who operated in Northern Europe under the cover of tea trader.
His first assignment was Betsy Mitchell from 1776 to 1782.
In 1784, he was assigned a new subject: Duncan MacLeod. In 1785 he was reprimanded by the Tribunal for public dueling. His duel with the Comte de Richeau put him in the public eye, counter to Watcher mandate. Further duels, he was told, would lead to the revocation of his pension.
He watched MacLeod until his death in 1796.
