Claudine was a mortal woman working as a prostitute in Paris. She was employed by the pimp, Dominique Battini.
Claudine met pre-immortal, Alfred Cahill, at a club while she was working. He told her about his career in the Royal Air Force, about being a war hero, and she returned both disinterest and disbelief.
Cahill became angry, and a fight broke out when Cahill hit her. In the ensuing melee, he rushed Claudine and she stabbed him in the belly. He walked away, but it was a mortal wound. Cahill stumbled from the bar, and happened to pass Duncan MacLeod.
The Immortal was instantly aware of what was happening, and followed Cahill until he collapsed and died several blocks later. MacLeod wanted to be on hand when the man revived. Unfortunately, Cahill found another explanation for his revival that suited his psychosis better than Duncan's, and set out on a course of vengeance.
Claudine had been lying low all day thinking she had murdered a man the night before, but Battini met her to tell her she was lucky, and the man had vanished. It was time to go back to work.
After getting into a car Battini had sent for her, she found found the driver dead. Cahill then entered the car, startling her. He said that he had been resurrected to do some 'special work.' He then then strangled her to death.
