Synopsis[]

MacLeod buys Charlie DeSalvo's dojo, and moves into the upstairs apartment, then asks Charlie to run the place for him. Richie attracts the ire of Immortal Annie Devlin by foiling her attempt at an assassination of the British Consulate.

MacLeod trains Richie in sword work, citing Annie's various favored attacks, and tries to convince Devlin not to fight him, but fails. Richie meets Annie's challenge, and wins his fight against Devlin, but finds that he is unable to behead her. She is allowed to escape. MacLeod presents Richie with a Spanish sword rapier.
